Your Hosts

Your hosts are Jim and Kari Strandlund. Their full time home is close enough that if you need anything, they are right there, and far enough that you can have your privacy.

Jim and Kari have lived – and continue to live – a life outdoors. Both have been actively snowmobiling, UTVing, fishing and hunting their entire lives, and they have a deep appreciation for all that beauty in nature, as well as its awesome power.

Jim is a technical service representative for Enertech Global, a certified geothermal inspector, trainer, designer and installer, as well as a Right-Suite residential HVAC designer. Kari is the parts & warranty supervisor for Aquarius Home Services and both recently owned and operated Strandlund Heating & Cooling before selling the business in 2017. So you can rest assured, the mechanicals of your cabin will be amongst the finest you can get anywhere, and all the systems are very carefully maintained.

Jim and Kari moved to their home on Moose Lake after visiting it in 2017 and falling in love with the area, and they can’t wait to share with you what a great area it is to rest, relax or play.

We are located in a quiet bay on Moose lake in the heart of the Chequamegon National forest with plenty to see and do no matter what your interests may be.
